Drop concepts under consideration: the community vote decides what gets made. The first drop, Screen Sprout, is already in development.

How it works

Don't just play the result. Decide the path.

A new game a month

Every month, a brand-new game, demo, or prototype made by the studio, honest about scope and always playable.

Your vote becomes the game

Vote on development decisions and see the outcome credited in public: you voted, we built it.

Real behind-the-scenes

A weekly devlog with real numbers: hours, scope cuts, and decisions, with no marketing gloss.

Your name in the credits

Founders get a numbered spot, double-weight votes, and their name in the credits of every game in year one.

The cycle of a drop

1

Week 1: Play the new drop

The month's game arrives ready to download, DRM-free, straight from the platform.

2

Week 2: Vote on the direction

Voting opens for the next game: theme, mechanic, or direction. The community decides.

3

Week 3: Test early

An open test build for anyone who wants to weigh in while there's still time to change things.

4

Week 4: You voted, we built it

The cycle wrap-up shows what the vote changed, and the countdown to the next drop begins.

The community decides together.

Votes that set the direction, open playtests, and a direct channel with the developer. All on the record: every closed vote becomes a published decision in the devlog.

Who makes it

Built by one person, in public.

Ruilan · @indiegamepass

Hi! I'm Ruilan, a solo dev. I've been writing software for years and I prototype games fast. IGP is my bet on turning that into a studio built in public, with the community steering the direction.

I use AI in the pipeline and I don't hide it: it's what makes one drop a month possible for a single person. With every drop, I'll publish a tech sheet saying what AI did and what's 100% mine.

Every number shows up in the weekly devlog: hours, scope cuts, decisions, and the vote tallies. If I mess up, you'll see it. That's how it should be.

Numbered spot · price locked forever

$3.99/mo

The plan for people who build with us from day one: your price is locked for as long as your subscription is active.

  • A new game every month (drop), DRM-free
  • Double-weight vote on decisions
  • Your name in the credits of every year-one game
  • Access to playtests and a direct channel with the dev
  • Cancel in a few clicks, no lock-in

After the 100 spots, the standard plan launches at a higher price. Founders never pay it.

Cadence guarantee

What is Indie Game Pass?

An independent studio with a different format: every month we release a new game, and you, the subscriber, take part in development. You vote on decisions, suggest ideas, test early builds, and follow the behind-the-scenes. At the end of the month, you play the result.

What exactly do I get every month?

A 'drop': a brand-new playable project for PC. It can be a short complete game, a demo, a prototype, or an experiment, always announced honestly about its scope. It's not a catalog of third-party games: it's original work, with the process showing.

Does my vote actually change anything?

It does, verifiably: every closed vote becomes a decision recorded in the devlog ('you chose X, so we built X'). If we ever need to go against a vote, we explain why publicly. Decorative voting would kill the project. It's our entire differentiator.

Do the games stay mine forever?

The files you download are yours, DRM-free, and work offline. Each subscribed month gets you that month's drop; drops from earlier months aren't included. In short: what you downloaded, nobody takes away; what shipped before you subscribed isn't part of the deal.

What if a month's game doesn't ship?

That's our 'cadence guarantee', written into the terms: if a drop doesn't ship in a given month, you're notified in advance and choose between a refund or credit. A delay with no notice and no compensation breaks the promise. And the promise is the product.

How much does it cost? What's the Founder Plan?

The Founder Plan is $3.99/month (or $19.99 for 6 months). There are 100 numbered spots, with the price locked forever while your subscription stays active, plus double-weight votes and your name in the credits. After the 100 spots, the standard plan launches at a higher price.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards, processed by a certified payment gateway. Recurring billing starts once the gateway goes live, and you'll be notified before any charge. We never see or store your card details.

Why subscribe when catalogs have hundreds of games?

Because it's not the same product. A catalog gives you volume to consume; IGP gives you a seat at the table where the games are born. If you want quantity, a catalog is unbeatable. If you want to see your idea inside a game by the end of the month, there's only one place.

Why not just back a dev on Patreon or buy one indie game a month?

Those are different things, and great ones. On Patreon you fund a creator and wait, sometimes for years, to see the result. Buying in a Steam sale, you play something finished with no connection to whoever made it. Here, something new and playable arrives every month, your vote changes what's being built, and the cadence guarantee is in the terms: no drop, no charge. It's support with a product in hand, not a bet and not passive consumption.

Do you use AI in the games?

We do, with full transparency: AI helps with code, art prototypes, audio, and planning. It's what makes shipping a game every month possible. The design, creative decisions, and final curation are human, and every drop publishes its 'tech sheet' stating what AI did and what is 100% original.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, on your own, in a few clicks, no maze. You keep access until the end of the paid period, and online purchases have a 7-day money-back window. If you cancel and come back after 30 days, your Founder spot may have gone to someone else. That's the only rule.

Do I need a powerful PC?

No. Drops are lightweight projects by nature, made to run on modest PCs (Windows). Each drop lists its own requirements on its page.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes: 16 years old, as set in our terms. Each drop shows its own age rating.
